Her Story ZA was founded by Loueen Jones-Paulsen, a South African woman with a deeply held belief that every woman’s story has the power to inspire, heal and uplift another. After years spent working alongside women across communities and industries, she saw how often stories of strength, resilience and courage went unheard — and how isolation, not lack of ability, was what held so many women back.

The initiative was established to create a safe, trusted space where women could connect authentically, share their journeys and find belonging beyond their immediate circles. Her Story ZA exists to ensure that no woman has to walk her path alone — whether she is navigating motherhood, career, loss, reinvention or growth.

HR Connect ZA is the organisation behind Her Story ZA, responsible for the platform’s strategy, operations, partnerships and ongoing development. HR Connect ZA provides the governance, resources and stewardship that allow the community to grow with integrity and care.
